I’m not to savy on new apps and their application but I have never seen 3 Operatorplugin apps along with these other apps OP07Wos, OP08lms, OP08Wos, OP12lms. Can anyone tell me what these are and what they do?

First time hearing this, but it might be something carrier specific if you got a carrier specific version of said phone.

Now I have noticed 8 Operator Plugins and I also have found that a lot of the operating apps have “overlay” and ideas

I checked the link you provided and Its scary stuff. Im trying to find a way of telling whether the apps I have overlays on are harmful or normal. Could you help point me in the right direction or do you know of a app I can use to scan for harmful overlays or something. Thanks for your help I greatly appreciate it

Well, these built in ones you cannot exactly entirely erase short of going through the geeky (and VERY risky) process of obtaining root access. Most Anti-Virus and anti-malware scanners are garbage and actually bog down and spy on your device, but Kaspersky Internet Security is definitely legit and uses next to no system resources (this last point I’d important since you have a low-end phone). Also, in the Google Play app, make sure you have Play Protect enabled and force a manual system scan if you want to.

Hello,
I just saw the discussion and was wondering if the op is a Targeted Individual.
If so then it is probably CIA spyware malware.
I have that stuff all over every phone I get.
I would highly suggest getting a couple different apps to look at manifests.
They are easy to use and if you can read you can kind of tell when things are strange..
Also I would suggest getting a good firewall and locking it down and seeing what up Addy’s and domains start hitting it..then turn it off and go to “who is” or “IP trace”
Also definitely want a permission explorer..
If you do that and you are a TI you will be horrified at the level of monitoring.

Oops sorry I didn’t realize it was a few years old..bummer..guess I’ll read and see how it turns out
