IGS Viewer – программа для просмотра, измерения и конвертирования файлов с расширением *.igs и *.iges. Показывает структуру IGS файлов.

IGS Viewer позволяет конвертировать IGS в DWG, IGS в STL, IGS в OBJ и другие форматы.

IGES – формат 2D и 3D графики, основанный на спецификации Initial Graphics Exchange. Файлы данного формата имеют расширение *.igs и *.iges. IGES формат предназначен для обмена 3D-моделями между программами CAD.

How to uninstall IGS Viewer?

1. ABViewer, an IGS Viewer, has a built-in deinstallation tool. To deinstall ABViewer choose the ABViewer folder (on default it is called CADSoftTools ABViewer 15) in the Start menu and click Uninstall ABViewer. Follow the steps of the standard Uninstall tool.
2. You can uninstall ABViewer in the Windows Control Panel:
   • Go to All Control Panel Items -> Programs and Features -> Uninstall or change a program;
   • Select ABViewer 15 and click Uninstall.

Расширение IGS – это файл 2D или 3D CAD векторной модели (может хранить каркасные модели, поверхности, твердые тела, круговые диаграммы и т.д.), который используется для обмена CAD чертежами, основан на формате Initial Graphics Exchange Specification (IGES). Формат IGES – это текстовый ASCII формат, который был утвержден в 1979 году Национальным институтом стандартов и технологий США (U.S. National Bureau of Standards), и являлся стандартом для экспорта и импорта 3D-моделей из одной чертежной программы в другую. Сейчас используется более новый формат .STP.
